ELECTRO-MECHANICAL ACTUATION TEST RIGS

Test rig for the execution of the R&D, Acceptance and Qualification test of linear electro-mechanical actuators, used on primary and secondary FCS (Flight Control Systems).

The test rig performs a complete characterization of electro-mechanical actuator, applying a resistant load through a servo-cylinder or counteracting the electromechanical actuator controlled in closed loop with load or position.

In addition, a mass moving on low friction guide is used to simulate the inertial mass applied to the actuator.

The test bench is equipped with climatic chamber to perform test at chamber temperature between -55°C and +75°C.

The rig can implement higher layer CAN protocol as CAN-BUS and ARINC825.

The test system can be provided with:

– Acquisition and Control System Rack for Environmental test
