Description
This machine carries out performance tests in climatic chamber on water pumps for automotive applications, including thermal management tests.
The pumps under test can be:
- Mechanical type (can be connected directly to the motor shaft, or indirectly through a transmission belt)
- Electrical type (controlled by PWM or CAN / LIN protocols)
The machine measures values of flow rate, inlet/outlet differential pressure, rotation speed, load pressure (in closed loop) and calculates the pump efficiency.
It is provided with a climatic chamber, allowing environment temperature and humidity control.
Furthermore, a thermal regulation system also allows the control of fluid temperature.
